Dr. Ron Breazeale is a clinical psychologist with more than thirty years experience in the fields of mental health and drug and alcohol treatment. The author of three books—Reaching Home, Duct Tape Isn't Enough, and his latest novel First Night—his work explores themes fo resilience, conflict and hope, and overcoming adversity.
Breazeale was one of the founders of Maine Resilience, and he has designed, administered, and edited numerous programs and publications that focus on the psychological skills and attitudes that can prevent emotional problems and increase life satisfaction. He also writes the In the Face of Adversity blog for Psychology Today. Breazeale is married, has one child, a daughter, and now lives and works in southern Maine.
