Patricia O’Donnell is a professor of Creative Writing in the University of Maine at Farmington's BFA Program. Her collection of short fiction, Gods for Sale, won the 2016 Serena McDonald Kennedy award and was published by Snake Nation Press. Her memoir, Waiting to Begin, was published by Bottom Dog Press. Her novel, Necessary Places, is available from Tilbury House, and her second novel, The Vigilance of Stars, will be published by Unsolicited Press in the spring of 2019. Her short fiction, essays and poetry have appeared in The New Yorker, Agni Review, Prairie Schooner, North American Review, American Literary Review, Short Story, and other journals and anthologies.
