John Manderino

John Manderino is the author of eight books. Three novels (Sam and His Brother Len, The Man Who Once Played Catch with Nellie Fox, The H-bomb and the Jesus Rock), two story collections (Reason for Leaving and But You Scared Me the Most) and a memoir (Crying at Movies), were published by Academy Chicago (an imprint of Chicago Review Press). A Christmas novel titled The True Meaning of Myrrh was published by Ice Cube Press, and Bopper's Progress, a novella which won first prize in an international fiction contest was published by Wundor Editions. He also writes plays, some of which have been produced by Acorn Theater and Winter Harbor Theater. John has more than 25 years of experience teaching college writing and has provides editing services for authors.
