Jane Sloven

Jane Sloven is a psychotherapist and retired attorney living in Portland, Maine, with her husband, Joe. She graduated from American University with a BA in Literature, New England School of Law with a JD, and the University of Connecticut with an MSW. Termination of Benefits is her first mystery, and she is working on a sequel.

Jane has co-authored Compassionate Journey: Honoring Our Mother’s Stories, with Maggie Butler, Cheryl Gillespie, Jenny Radsma, and Martha Rice. In addition to clinical articles, Jane’s short stories and essays have been published in River Poets Journal: 2016 Special Edition, Signature Poems; Grey Wolfe Publishing, LLC’s Literary Journal, Legends: Paranormal Pursuits 2016; and Write to Woof 2014; River Poets Journal: 2013 Special Edition, Tales from the Matriarchal Zone; and Chicago Now (2013).
