Frank Freeman

Frank Freeman’s book reviews have appeared in America Magazine, American Spectator (online), Boston Book Review, Bloomsbury Review, CatholicFiction.net, Commonweal, First Things (online), Gilbert, The Rumpus, Touchstone, and The Weekly Standard. An essay of his was included in the book Spiritual Journeys (Daughters of St. Paul), and The C.S. Lewis Bulletin of New York City and Touchstone have published others. Freeman’s poetry has appeared in The Aroostook Review (online), The New York Quarterly, and Tiger’s Eye. His fiction has appeared in St. Katherine’s Review.

He received a BA (Cum Laude) in English from Texas A&M University, an MA in English from Northeastern University, and a BA in philosophy from Our Lady of Grace Seminary. At Texas A&M he won a Morgan Scholarship in English, and at Northeastern he won an honorary lectureship for best performance in the comprehensive exams. He has participated in a fiction workshop with Christopher Tilghman, a two-week poetry workshop at Haystack with Wes McNair, and attended a Robert McKee Story Seminar.
