Sylvia Torti

Sylvia Torti is an ecologist and writer. She holds a PhD in biology and is the author of two novels (The Scorpion's Tail, Curbstone Press, 2005 and Cages, Schaffner Press, 2017). Her short stories and essays have been published in numerous magazines and edited volumes. She is currently serving as President of College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, Maine.
