Ryan Lowell

Ryan Lowell’s fiction has appeared in Portland Monthly Magazine, Worker’s Write Journal and Overtime chapbook series. His story “Things Fall Apart” was a Glimmer Train short story award contest finalist. 

Freight, his debut novel about a tractor-trailer heist, is due out August 2026 (Mulholland Books / Little, Brown and Company).

He lives in South Portland with his wife and two sons.
