Meghan Wilson Duff

Meghan Wilson Duff writes books for children. How Are You, Verity?, illustrated by Taylor Barron and released by Magination Press in August 2023 is their first published book. When they were young, they wanted to be a marine biologist, but somewhere along the way they got distracted by trying to figure out other people and became a psychologist.

Meghan is a faculty member in the Psychology & Community Studies program at the University of Maine at Machias. Prior to teaching, they worked as a child and family therapist and adolescent addictions treatment provider.

They are a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance (MWPA), the National Writing Project (NWP) and Maine Writing Project (MWP), and a Schweitzer Fellow For Life.
