Maryann Cocca-Leffler is the author and illustrator of over 70 books for children including the upcoming, We Want to go To School Too! The Fight for Disability Rights, co-authored with her daughter Janine Leffler, which tells the true story of the people behind the 1972 landmark case which ensured Public Education for all.
Recent books include; The Power of YET inspired by the Power of Yet growth mindset, The Belonging Tree, which celebrates diverse neighborhoods, and Same Way Ben, which is loosely based on an autistic boy who has difficulty with change. Her book Janine was inspired by her daughter, Janine. Together they have developed a corresponding website, with a mission to help change public perception of children with disabilities.
