Kate Kaminski

Kate Kaminski is a Maine writer and award-winning indie filmmaker. She has a B.A. in Psychology from University of Texas and a master's in Film Production from Boston University. She is the author of two novels (I Am Danvers and One Good Thing), and is a member of Queer Crime Writers. Most recently her short crime fiction was featured on Shotgun Honey. The four feature films Kaminski made with partner Betsy Carson are distributed internationally by Gemini Entertainment and streaming online. Formerly a college instructor of writing, filmmaking and film studies for 19 years, Kaminski also founded and was Artistic Director of two feminist film festivals (Bluestocking Film Series and Fem.Cine.Anarchy) that ran from 2011-2018 and 2015-2020, respectively.
