Jennifer Nelson Simpson

Jennifer resides in Bangor with her husband, two children, and an Olde English Bulldogge. Jennifer transitioned from journalism to fiction, expanding her creative reach through a variety of publications and competitions. Her work has appeared in The Maine Campus, Bangor Daily News, Army AL&T Magazine, and Stars and Stripes, and has been recognized by the Army Public Affairs community. She has also participated in the NYC Midnight Challenges and National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Most recently, her short story "The River Mystery" was published in Rivers of Ink: Literary Reflections on the Penobscot, a collection honoring the cultural and natural significance of Maine’s waterways.
