Liz Iversen

Liz Iversen was born in the Philippines and grew up in South Dakota. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her M.A. in English from San Francisco State University. Her fiction and essays have appeared in Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Creative Nonfiction, Room, and elsewhere. She received an Ashley Bryan Fellowship from the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance and was named a 2021 Tin House scholar. A copywriter for a radio and podcast advertising agency, she lives with her husband and two children in South Portland, Maine.
