Colin Alexander is a writer of science fiction and fantasy. Actually, Colin Alexander is a pseudonym, maybe an alter ego, or who the author would have been if he hadn't had a career as a medical researcher. His first two novels were mysteries, God’s Adamantine Fate and Lady of Ice and Fire, published by Donald I. Fine, Inc. in the nineties. After a hiatus for career and family, he returned to writing as an indie author of science fiction and fantasy. He has since published four books: My Life: An Ex-Quarterback’s Adventures in The Galactic Empire (2015), Accidental Warrior: The Unlikely Tale of Bloody Hal (2017), Starman’s Saga: The Long, Strange Journey of Leif The Lucky (2019), and the 2021 release, Complicated: The Interstellar Life and Times of Saoirse Kenneally. He’s an active member of both the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America and of Mystery Writers of America.
Away from writing fiction, Colin is a doctor and a biochemist (Ph.D) whose idea of relaxation is martial arts (taekwondo and minna jiu jitsu). He lives in Maine with his wife. You can follow Colin on his website, on Amazon, on Goodreads, or on Facebook.
