Charlotte Agell
Charlotte Agell is the author and illustrator of books for children and young adults, including Dancing Feet, which the New York Times Book Review called “ebullient,” and The Accidental Adventures of India McAllister, an American Library Association Top Ten Rainbow List selection. Recent books include Maybe Tomorrow?, a picture book illustrated by Ana Ramirez (a 2020 Maine Literary Award and Lupine Honor Award), as well as Mud, Sand, and Snow, a board book illustrated by Charlotte. A lifelong teacher, she is also a painter. Originally from Sweden, Charlotte grew up in Montreal and Hong Kong, before landing in Maine for college and refusing to leave ever since.
