Brian David Randall

Brian David Randall is a first-time novelist with Demaris: Protocol, book one of his LGBTQ+ spy series. Published in June 2025 by Riptide Publishing, his debut novel has been selected as a finalist for LGBTQ fiction by both Readers’ Favorite and the International Book Awards. Randall is an openly gay graduate of Liberty University where he earned a degree in communications. A member of the AFIO, Association of Former Intelligence Officers, Randall fictionalized his true experiences in Washington DC where, as a young man in 1992, he was recruited by the CIA to serve as an operative prior to Executive Order #12968. He resides in Portland, Maine with his husband of 22 years and their German Shepherd. Currently, Randall serves as a Senior Vice President for a global translation and AI data services company. Writing has been a life-long passion equal only to boats. Both he and his husband are USCG OUPV captains and can be found most summer days along the coast of Maine aboard on their boat, Tiger.
